Deepen Your Bible Knowledge Now
The Bible was written for us, but not to us. That said, many have misinterpreted what the Word of God has to say. Cherry picking verses and taking it out of context is dangerous practice and lead us away from God instead of to him.
That’s why we created Bible Study PH. To help and inspire spiritual growth by offering insightful resources that show us what the Bible truly has to say.
Our mission is to illuminate biblical teachings and make them accessible to everyone in the Philippines. We are a purely non-profit ministry out to faithfully steward the Word and serve others.

About David Hinchey
David Hinchey came to faith in 1991 with a heart passionately drawn to missions. The Lord gave him Romans 15:22, a verse that stirred his calling to become a missionary. In 2000, he was appointed Missions Pastor at Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship (CCBF), serving faithfully for eight years before being sent out as a missionary to the Philippines.
While serving in the Philippines, he married his wife Jen in September 2008. Jen had served as a social worker at Calvary Children’s Home for a decade. Their relationship had grown over the years as he led multiple mission trips from CCBF to minister to the children there.
On November 9, 2008, they held the inaugural Sunday service of Simbahan sa Bukid (“Church on the Mountain”) in a small community called Himamaylan, located on the island of Negros. For six years, they served the local church, raising up godly men who eventually became pastors and Bible study leaders.
By March 2014, the church was transitioned into the hands of the local leaders God had raised up, and the Lord opened the door for them to return to CCBF, where he served as the Administrative Pastor.
In 2015, the Lord blessed them with a beautiful daughter named Hallel, meaning “praise.” She is truly a miracle. Though doctors had said they would never have children, God proved faithful—reminding them that nothing is impossible with Him (Matthew 19:26).
In January 2020, God stirred their hearts once again to return to the Philippines—this time to plant a new church in the city of Bacolod.
