Making Bible Study Easy for everyone.

Why BibleStudy.ph?

A library built around the passage.

The Bible was written for us, but not to us. Reading verses apart from their context can easily lead us away from what the passage actually says. BibleStudy.ph exists to make careful, verse-by-verse study easier and to keep each resource connected to the passage it belongs to.

BibleStudy.ph brings the teaching, original notes, study guides, presentation resources, and available language versions together in one place. When Hiligaynon material is available, visitors can move directly between the English and Hiligaynon versions of the same study.

Our aim is to make these Bible study resources freely accessible so that anyone can open the Word, understand the context, and dig deeper into Scripture.

Verse-by-verse teaching

Studies stay connected to the passage actually covered rather than being broken into artificial sections.

English & Hiligaynon

Matching language resources are linked together so the same lesson can be accessed in either language when available.

Study resources together

Video teachings, original notes, study guides, and presentation files stay beside the passage they belong to.

Tools for deeper study

Inductive Bible Study, Greek, and Hebrew resources have their own training library for those who want to go deeper.

Pastor David Hinchey and family
About the Pastor

Pastor David Hinchey

David serves as pastor of Calvary Bible Fellowship in Bacolod City, Philippines. His desire is to teach the Bible simply, verse by verse, helping people understand the Scriptures in their context and apply God’s Word to their lives.

BibleStudy.ph grew out of that teaching ministry as a way to make Bible study resources freely available to anyone wanting to dig deeper into Scripture. The site brings together teaching videos, original notes, English and Hiligaynon study guides, presentation materials, and training in inductive Bible study and the biblical languages.

David came to faith in 1991 with a heart drawn to missions. Romans 15:22 became a verse that helped stir that calling. In 2000, he was appointed Missions Pastor at Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship and served there for eight years before being sent out as a missionary to the Philippines.

While serving in the Philippines, he married his wife Jen in September 2008. On November 9, 2008, they held the first Sunday service of Simbahan sa Bukid (“Church on the Mountain”) in Himamaylan on the island of Negros. They served there for six years, helping raise up local pastors and Bible study leaders before transitioning the church into local leadership in 2014.

In 2015, the Lord blessed their family with their daughter Hallel. In January 2020, God stirred their hearts to return to the Philippines again, this time to plant a new church in Bacolod City.
