  • God gave them unique clothing for three reasons….
  • For GLORY – to be HEAVY – speaking of their responsibility in representing God to the people…
  • For BEAUTY – colorful clothing would make them stand out from among the people…
  • To CONSECRATE them – the clothing would set them apart – HOLY – as PRIESTS to God!

    • Inside the Tabernacle – next to the VEIL just outside the Holiest of Holies…
    • Ang sa sulod sang Tolda- dayon ang LINEN ara lang sa guwa sang Balaan sa Pinaka Balaan..
    • The Alter of incense – 18 inches square x 3 inches high – overlaid with Gold..
    • Ang Halaran sang insenso- 18 inches ang kasangkaron x 3 inches ang kataason- nalikopan sang bulawan…
    • Like the Ark / Menorah / and table of showbread – it had two poles attached for carrying!
    • Pareho sa kahon/bulutangan sang suga/ kag ang tinapay sa lamisa- may ara sang duwa ka poste nga naga angot para sa paghakwat!
  • 2^nd – Morning and Evening… vs. 6-8
  • 2^nd– Kaagahon kag Kagab-ehon…vs. 6-8
    • The Alter of incense was used to burn INCENSE before the Lord in the Tabernacle…
    • Ang Halaran sang insenso pagamiton sa pagsunog sang INSENSO sa Dios sa Toda..
    • The Lord told Moses that He would meet with him there at the Alter…
    • Ang Dios naghambal kay Moises nga Siya magkipagkita sa iya sa didto sa Halaran..
    • Because even Moses could not go inside to the Holiest of All – into the presence of God!
    • Kay tungod bisan si Moises indi makasulod didto sa Pinakabalaan sa tanan- didto sa presensya sang Ginoo!
    • We might think – it would be nice to have an alter like that – a place to meet up with God…
    • Nagapinsar kita- manami nga may ara kita nga halaran pareho sina- lugar nga kon sa diin makipagkita sa Ginoo..
    • Every time you have a question – when you have a problem or need help…
    • Sa tiun nga ikaw may ara sang pamangkot- kon may ara ka problima ukon gakinahanglan sang bulig…
    • How wonderful would it be to have a place where we could go to hear from God!
    • Daw ano kanami nga may ara kita lugar nga kon sa diin pwede naton mabatian ang Ginoo!
    • The Altar was a picture – it represented the PRAYERS of the saints coming up to God…
    • Ang halaran isa lang ka palaanggiran- ina naga presentar sang PAGPANGAMUYO sang santo sa pagpalapit sa Ginoo..
    • Revelation 8:3 – “Another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the PRAYERS of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.”
    • Pahayag 8:3-”May isa pa gid ka anghel nga nagpalapit sa halaran. May ginauyatan siya nga bulawan nga sulodlan sang insenso. Ginhatagan siya sing madamo nga insenso para iupod sa mga pangamuyo sang tanan nga tumuluo kag ihalad sa halaran nga bulawan nga ara sa atubang sang trono.
    • We do have access to the Lord anytime – anywhere – we can come to the Lord in prayer!
    • Indi gid kita makapalapit sa Dios bisan ano oras- bisan diin- makapalapit lang kita sa iya paagi sa pagpangamuyo!
    • Unlike Moses or the priests – we can come right into the throne room of God!
    • Indi pareho kay Moises ukon sang mga Pari- sila makapalapit sa trono sang Ginoo!
    • Talk to God – hear from God – find grace for the difficult times in our lives!
    • Istoryaha ang Ginoo- pamati halin sa Ginoo- magpangita sang iya grasya sa tiun nga kita gakabudlayan sa aton kabuhi!
    • Hebrews 4:16 – “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
    • Hebreo 4:16–”Gani indi kita magkatahap nga magpalapit sa trono sang Dios nga maluluy-on, para mabaton ta ang kaluoy kag bulig sa oras nga kinahanglan naton.
  • 3^rd – Strange fire… vs. 8-9
  • 3^rd– “Ginasunog sa kalayo…vs.8-9
    • You shall not offer STRANGE incense on it…
    • Indi ka maghalad sang GINASUNOG nga insenso didto..
    • The Altar of INCENSE was not for regular sacrifices – BURNT / GRAIN / or DRINK offerings…
    • Ang halaran sang INSENSO indi permi sa paghalad- GINASUNOG/ GRAIN/ukon ILIMNON nga mga halad…
    • And most importantly – do NOT offer STRANGE incense on the Altar…
    • Kag ang pinaka importante- INDI mag halad sang GINASUNOG nga insenso sa Halaran..
    • Leviticus 10:1-2 – “Nadab and Abihu… offered profane [strange] fire before the LORD, which He had not commanded them. So fire went out from the LORD and devoured them…”
    • Leviticus 10:1-2-”Nadab kag si Abihu….naghalad sang bulutangan sang insenso[ ginasunog] sa kalayo para sa DIOS, nga wala ginsugo sa ila…gani nagpadala ang Ginoo sang kalayo kag ginsunog sila.
    • This seems to be a VERY extreme reaction to us on the part of God…
    • Ina nagapakita sang TUMAN gid nga reaksyon sa aton parte sa Ginoo..
    • But the priests were the representation of God to the people…
    • Pero ang mga pari kon sa diin naga ila ginapresentar ang Ginoo sa mga katawhan..
    • Therefore – it was incredibly important that obey all laws of God – regard Him as Holy…
    • Gani- ina importante gid nga sundon ang tanan nga mga layi sang Ginoo- pagakabigon Siya nga Balaan..
    • If they did things God did not command them to do – they misrepresented God…
    • Kon sila magahimo sang mga butang nga wala ginsugo sang Ginoo sa ila- sila wala nagapresentar sang Ginoo..
    • Whatever the priests said or did – was a pattern for Israel to follow after…
    • Bisan ano ang gianhambal sang pari ukon ginahimo-ina pagasundon sang Israelinhon pagkatapos..
    • A heavy responsibility – with stern consequences for misrepresenting the Lord!
    • Ang mabug-at nga responsibilidad- tuman ka estrikto para epresentar ang Dios!
    • We also need to be careful what we say and do – so we do NOT misrepresent Jesus…
    • Kita man kinahanglan nga maghalong kon ano ang aton ginahambal kag ginahimo- gani kita INDI maepresentar si Jesus….
    • How we live our lives – how we talk – where we go – people assume is from God…
    • Kon paano kita magkabuhi- paano maghambal- kon diin nagakadto- ang tawo magahaum nga ina halin sa Ginoo..
    • Which is why we ALSO must live our lives according to the COMMAND of God…
    • Amo ina kon ngaa kita MAN kinahanglan nga magkabuhi suno sa SUGO sang Ginoo..
    • Make sure we do NOT offer any STRANGE fire to the Lord!
    • Siguraduhon naton nga kita WALA nagahalad sang bisan ano nga GINASUNOG sa kalayo nga halad sa Dios!
  • 4^th – Atonement… vs. 10
  • 4^th– Makatubos….vs.10
    • Once a year Aaron – High Priest – would make ATONEMENT for the sins of the people…
    • Isa sa kada tuig- Mataas nga Pari- maghimo sang MAKATUBOS para sa sala sang mga katawhan..
    • ATONEMENT [כִפֶּר] – to COVER – referring to the day of Yom Kippur – Leviticus 16
    • MAKATUBOS- sa PAGTABON- ginatumod sa adlaw sang Yom Kippur- Leviticus 16
    • The High Priest would put the blood on the horns of the Altar of Incense…
    • Ang Mataas nga Pari amo ang magabutang sang dugo sa sungay sa halaran sang Insenso..
    • To COVER the sins of the people – so God could HEAR their prayers!
    • Sa PAGTABON sang sala sang mga katawhan- para ang Ginoo MAKABATI sang ila mga pangamuyo!
    • Because it is sin that keeps the Lord for hearing our prayers – leaves prayers unanswered…
    • Tungod amo ini ang sala nga kon sa diin indi mabatian sang Dios ang aton pangamuyo- nagapabilin nga wala nasabat ang pangamuyo…
    • Our prayers hit the ceiling of our sin – and we end up talking to ourselves!
    • Ang aton pangamuyo sang aton sala naga bunggo lang sa atop- kag sa katapusan kita naga istorya na lang sa aton kaugalingon…
    • Psalm 66:18 – “If I had… sin in my heart, my Lord would not have listened.”
    • Salmo 66:18-”Kon ginapay-an ko lang ang akon mga sala wala kuntani nagpamati ang Ginoo sa akon.
• 2^nd – Trusting in God… vs. 11-16
• 2nd- magsalig sa ginoo…vs.11-16
  • 1^st – When you take a census… vs. 11
  • 1^st– kon magkuha sang census….vs.11
    • God would have Moses count the children of Israel – Numbers 1:2
    • Ang Ginoo ginbutang si Moises para sa pag-isip sang katawhan sang Israelinhun- Numero 1:2
    • But there was a DANGER to counting the people…
    • Pero may ara sang KADELIKADO sa pag-isip sang mga katawhan..
    • If they were preparing to go to Battle – they might count how many troops they had…
    • Kon sila magpreparar sa pagkadto sa Pakig-awayan- kinahanglan nga isipon kon pila kabilog ang ila upod..
    • And trust in their strength of numbers – rather than trusting in the Lord!
    • Kag sila magasalig sa kusog kon pila sila kabilog- kaysa magsalig sa Dios!
    • But God does not care about numbers – the 300 men of Gideon – Judges 7:2
    • Pero ang Ginoo wala labot sang kadamuon- ang 300 ka tawo ni Gideon- Hukom 7:2
    • Even today we have a tendency to look to and trust in NUMBERS…
    • Bisan subong may posibilidad gid nga magtulok kag magsalig lang kita sa NUMERO..
    • One of the FIRST questions someone will ask about a church – how many people come…
    • Isa sa UNA nga pamangkot may isa nga magpamangkot parte sa simbahan- pila ka tawo ang nagakadto…
    • We see quantity as a sign of blessings – but God does not look at numbers…
    • Makita naton nga ang kadamuon nagasenyales sang mga bugay- pero ang Ginoo wala nagatulok sa kadamuon..
    • God looks at the heart – He wants His kids to look to and trust in Him!
    • Ang Ginoo nagatulok sa tagipusuon- gusto Niya nga ang Iya kabataan magtulok kag magsalig sa Iya!
  • 2^nd – The Ransom… vs. 12-16
    • 2ng- Ang pagtubos…vs. 12-16
    • If there was a census – then all those counted had to pay a RANSOM tax…
    • Kon may mag-census- gani tanan ina ginaisip sa pagbayad sang RANSOM tax..
      • This was the census tax – to be given only when you numbered the Children of Israel…
      • Amo ina ang census nga buwis- ihatag lang kon maisip ang mga Kabataan sang Israelinhon..
      • All the proceeds of the tax were to go to pay for the upkeep of the Tabernacle…
      • Ang tanan magabayad sang buwis kon sa diin magakadto sa pagbayad sang pagpaninlo sa Tolda.
      • Rich or poor it did NOT matter – the RANSOM was the same…
      • Manggaranon ukon Imol INDI ina importante- ang RANSOM palareho…
      • Every Jewish man over the age of 20 was expected to pay a ½ Shekel (10 days wage)!
      • Ang kada Judio nga tawo nga naga edad 20 pababaw gina ekspiktar sa pagbayad sang 1/2 ka pilak( 10 ka adlaw sang sweldo)!
    • Do we still have to pay the RANSOM when we count…
    • Kita kinahanglan nga magbayad sang RANSOM kon kita naisip…
      • We read about the tax in when Jesus arrived in Capernaum – Matthew 17:24-27
      • Aton nabasahan parte sa buwis sang si Jesus nag abot sa Capernaum- Mateo 17:24-27
      • Peter was asked – does your teacher not pay the temple [Tabernacle] tax…
      • Ginpamangkot si Pedro - ang inyo manunodlo wala nagabayad sa simbahan[ Tolda]sang buwis…
      • Peter immediately answered – YES – then thought to go and check with Jesus…
      • Kag insegida nagsabat si Pedro- HUO- kag nagpanghunahuna nga maglakat kag usisa kay Jesus…
      • Jesus anticipating the question from Peter instead asked him…
      • Si Jesus nagapaabot sang pamangkot kay Pedro nga kon tani siya mamangkot…
      • Who do the Kings of the earth tax – their sons or strangers…
      • Sin-o naghimo sang mga Pari sa kalibutan sang buwis – ila kabataan ukon estranghero..
      • The point being that Kings do NOT tax their own sons – they are tax free!
      • Ang punto bilang isa ka mga Pari WALA nagakuha sang Buwis sa ila kaugalingon nga bata- sila wala nagabayad sing buwis!
      • We are not strangers in the Kingdom of God – we are sons…
      • Indi kita mga estranghero sa Ginharian sang Ginoo- Kita mga kabataan..
      • Therefore we are not required to give any tax or tithe – II Corinthians 9:7
      • Gani indi kita ginaobligar sa paghatag sang bisan ano nga buwis ukon paghatag- II Corinto 9:7
      • There is no TAX for the sons and daughters of the King…
      • Wala sang BUWIS para sa mga bata kag kaanakan sang Hari….
      • We can GIVE if and when we desire – God loves his kids to give cheerfully!
      • Kita maga HATAG kon kag kon ano ang aton handom- ginahigugma sang Ginoo ang iya kaanakan sa paghatag nga may kalipay!
• 3^rd – Walking with God … vs. 17-21
• 3^rd– PAgpanglakaton kaupod ang Ginoo…vs.17-21
  • 1^st – The Bronze POOL… vs. 17-18
  • 1^st– Ang Saway nga LABADOR…vs.17-18
    • Outside the Tabernacle – next to the bronze ALTAR – was the large Bronze POOL…
    • Sa guwa sang Tolda-kag dayon sa Saway nga HALARAN- amo ang dako nga Saway nga LABADOR…
    • There are no dimensions given in Exodus as to the exact size of the pool…
    • Wala gid sang kadakuon ang ginhatag sa Exodus para sa sakto nga size sang labador…
    • But if it was similar to the bronze SEA Solomon built for the Temple – it was HUGE!
    • Pero parehos sang saway sa DAGAT nga ginpatindog ni Solomon- DAKO gid ini!
    • I Kings 7:23 – “15 feet across from rim to rim; it was called the Sea. It was 7 1/2 feet deep and about 45 feet in circumference.”
    • I Hari 7:23-”Dayon naghimo si Huram sang dako nga suludlan sang tubig nga daw kawa, nga ginatawag Dagat. Ang kadalumon sini 7 feet kag 6 inches, ang kasangkaron 15 feet, kag ang tako palibot 45 feet..
  • 2^nd – Washing the Priests… vs. 19-21
  • 2^nd– Ang pagpanghugas sang Pari..19-21
    • The pool was used by the Priests to wash their HANDS and FEET…
    • Ang labador amo ang pagamiton sang mga Pari sa paghugas sang ila mga KAMOT kag TIIL..
    • The priests had to wash before the went into the TABERNACLE or to the ALTAR – or die…
    • Ang mga pari kinahanglan nga manghugas antes magsulod sa TOLDA ukon sa HALARAN- ukon indi sila mapatay..
    • The obvious questions – why just wash the HANDS and FEET – why not the rest!
    • Ang maathag nga pamangkot- ngaa hugasan gid ang KAMOT kag TIIl- ngaa indi ang iban!
    • John 13:10 – “He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean…”
    • Juan 13:10-” Kag inid na kinahanglan nga hugasan pa luwas lamang sa iya mga tiil. Limpyo na kamo, pero indi tanan kamo.
    • Peter asked this same question of Jesus when He washed the disciples feet…
    • Si Pedro nagpamangkot sang pareho nga pamangkot kay Jesus sang Siya nanghugas sang tiil sang mga disipolo..
    • It is a spiritual picture – our feet are where we go – our hands are what we do…
    • Amo ini ang espirituhanon nga palaanggiran- ang aton tiil kon diin gakadto- ang aton kamot kon ano ang ginahimo..
    • If where we go and what we do is clean – the rest of us will also be clean!
    • Kon diin kita nagakadto kag kon ano ang aton ginahimo nga matinlo- ang iban nga parte sa aton mangin matinlo man!
    • We as believers need to be careful where we go – and what we do…
    • Kita bilang tumuluo kinahanglan nga maghalong kon diin kita gakadto- kag kon ano ang aton ginahimo..
    • If we go along with others to places where bad things happen – we will be UNCLEAN…
    • Kon kita mag-upod sa iban sa mga lugar nga kon sa diin damo ang nagakalatabo nga malain- kita mangin HIGKO..
    • We may try and convince ourselves we will NOT join in – but in the end we will compromise…
    • Kita naga testing kag nagapilit sang aton kaugalingon nga WALA kita nagaintra- pero sa ulihii kita nangin kompromiso..
    • We will ONLY find we are CLEAN – when we STAY away from sin – walking with the Lord!
    • Aton lang matalupangdan nga kita MATINLO- kon kita MAGPALAYO sa sala- magpanglakaton sa Dios!
• 4^th – Anointed by God… vs. 22-33
• 4^th– ginhaplasan sang ginoo…vs.22-33
  • 1^st – The ANOINTING Oil… vs. 22-30
  • 1^st– ang PAGHAPLAS sang lana..vs.22-30
    • God gave to Moses very specific instructions as to the ingredients of the Anointing oil…
    • Ang Ginoo naghatag sang insakto gid nga instruksion sang mga panakot sang paghaplas sang lana..
    • SIX kilos of myrrh / THREE kilos of cinnamon / THREE kilos of sweat cane…
    • ANOM ka kilo sang mira/ TATLO ka kilo sang sinamon/ TATLO ka kilo sang mahamot nga calamus..
    • SIX kilos of cassia (similar to cinnamon)…
    • ANOM ka kilo nga cassia( daw pareho sa sinamon)
    • All of this was to be mixed in ONE gallon of olive oil – to make the Holy Anointing oil…
    • Ang tanan to pagamikslahan sang ISA ka galoon sang olibo nga lana- sa paghimo sang Balaan nga lana nga inughaplas..
    • With this oil they were to ANOINT – the Tabernacle / the Ark of God / the table…
    • Paagi sa sini nga lana ila paga HAPLASAN- ang Tolda/ ang Kahon sang Ginoo/ ang lamesa..
    • The Menorah / Alter of incense / Bronze Alter / Bronze pool / and Aaron and his sons…
    • Ang bulutangan sasng suga/ halaran sang inseso/ saway nga halaran/ saway nga labador/ kag si Aaron kag ang iya mga kabataan..
    • The OIL made all of them HOLY to God – special – set apart for the work of God!
    • Ang LANA ginhimo sila tanan nga BALAAN sa Ginoo- espesyal- ginseparar para sa ulobrahon sang Ginoo!
  • 2^nd – Do NOT duplicate… vs. 31-33
  • 2^nd– INDI ninyo pag-ibubo…vs.31-33
    • The OIL was HOLY – it was not to be used apart from the direction of God…
    • Ang LANA nga BULAWAN- indi pagamiton palayo halin sa pagsulundan sang Ginoo..
    • And anyone who tried to DUPLICATE the ANOINTED oil – was to be cut off from Israel!
    • Kag kon sin-o mag ang testing nga IBUBO ang GINAHAPLAS nga lana- indi sila kabigon nga sakop sang Israelinhun..
    • When it comes to being ANOINTED – there are THREE options!
    • Kon parte sa kon paano ang PAGHAPLAS- may ara nga TATLO ka pilian!
    • We can look to the WORLD and follow their example!
    • Pwede kita katulok sa KALIBUTAN kag sundon ang ila ehemplo!
    • When the Philistines captured the Ark of God – I Samuel 5-6
    • Sang ang mga Philistinhon ginkuha ang Kahon sang Ginoo– I Samuel 5-6
    • God caused plagues to torment and punish them – rats and hemorrhoids…
    • Ang Ginoo nagpadala sa ila sang kalalat-an sa pagpaantos kag pagpina sa ila- mga ilaga kag almoranas…
    • So they sent the Ark back to Israel on a cart drawn by two cows!
    • Gani ila ginbalik ang kahon sa Israel sa karwahe paagi sa duwa ka baka!
    • When King David tried to bring the Ark to Jerusalem…
    • Sang si HAring David nagtesting sa pagdala sang Kahon sa Jerusalem..
    • He looked to the example of the WORLD – rather than to the Lord…
    • Siya nagtulok sa ehemplo sang KALIBUTAN- kaysa Dios..
    • He brought the Ark on a cart drawn by two cows – II Samuel 6:1-7
    • Iya gindala ang kahon sa karwahi paagi sa duwa ka baka- II Samuel 6:1-7
    • At one point on the road – a cow stumbled – the Ark tipped and almost fell…
    • Sa isa ka punto sa alagyan- ang baka nadalin-as-kag ang punta sang kahon daw madagdag na…
    • A man named Uzzah reached out to steady the Ark – God struck him dead!
    • Ang tawo nga si Uza gin-uyatan niya sa pagpugong sang kahon- gani ginpatay siya sang Ginoo!
    • According to the Word – the Ark was only to be carried by poles – Exodus 25:15
    • Suno sa Pulong- ang kahon pagahakwaton lang paagi sa poste- Exodus 25:15
    • Because King David DUPLICATED the example of the world – it brought death!
    • Kay tungod si Haring David GINSUNOD ang ehemplo sang kalibutan- ina magadala sang kamatayon!
    • Unfortunately today many people look to the World rather than the Word…
    • Ang masubo subong damo sang mga tawo nga nagatulok sa kalibutan kay sa Pulong…
    • They think in order to be used by God – you need a college degree…
    • Nagapinsar sila paagi sa pagpagamit sa Ginoo- nagakinahanglan sang College degree..
    • In order for a church to grow in size – you need to entertain the people…
    • Agod nga ang simbahan madtubo sing madamo- kinahanglan mo nga lingawon ang mga katawhan…
    • To get money – hold fundraisers – to raise money for the church…
    • Sa pagkuha sang kwarta- sa pagkapyot sang mga – sa pagtipon sang kwarta para sa simbahan…
    • All ideas that come from the world – nowhere to be found in the Word…
    • Ang tanan nga ideya ina naghalin tanan sa kalibutan- bisan subong indi makita sa Pulong..
    • As a result many churches are not looking to the Lord/Bible – spiritual death!
    • Bilang resulta kadamo sang mga simbahan nga wala nagatulok sa Dios /Bilbiya- espirituhanun nga kamatayon!
    • We can look to other CHURCHES – and try and DUPLICATE the anointing…
    • Kita makatulok sa iban na SIMBAHAN- kag nagatingwa nga SUNDON kon paano sila maghaplas…
    • If we see a church doing an outreach – LOTS of people attend – we try to DUPLICATE it…
    • Kon makakita kita sang simbahan nga nagahimo sang hilikuton- DAMO sang mga tawo ang naga tambong- aton gina testingan nga SUNDON ina..
    • If we see a person BLESSED by God – we want to DUPLICATE them…
    • Kon makakita kita sang tawo nga gin PAKAMAAYO sang Dios- gusto naton nga SUNDON sila…
    • If it worked for them then maybe it will work for us too!
    • Kon ina nag gana sa ila basi ina maganan man para sa aton!
    • But there is a very real danger in trying to DUPLICATE the anointing of God…
    • Pero may pina ka dilikado kon aton tingwa-on nga SUNDON ang paghaplas sang Ginoo…
    • We trust a system / program / method – rather than the God who makes them work
    • Gasalig kita sa sestema/ programa/ pamaagi- kaysa Ginoo nga naga paobra sa ila…
    • If we try and DUPLICATE the ANOINTING – we are not looking to God – death again!
    • Kon kita magatilaw kag SUNDODN ang PAGHAPLAS- wala kita naga tulok sa Dios- kamatayon liwat!
    • We can look to the LORD – and follow His example…
    • Makatulok kita sa Dios- kag sundon ang Iya ihemplo..
    • The best way to see God do a work in our lives – is to walk with the Lord…

    • These THREE elements that should sound very familiar to us – the GIFTS given to Jesus!

    • So what made him so special – why was he uniquely able to be used by the Lord…

    • Bezalel [בְּצַלְאֵל] – his name means under the shadow of God…
    • Bezalel -Ang buot silingon sang iya ngalan sa idalom sang landong sang Ginoo..
    • If you are in a the shadow of something – it suggests you are very close…
    • Kon ikaw ara sa bisan ano nga landong- ina nagahambal nga kamo tuman gid ka lapit..
    • If I were in the shadow of a tree – the tree would not be miles away…

    • Bezalel was in the shadow of God – meaning he stayed very close to the Lord!

    • If we desire to be used by God – we need to be close to the Lord…

    • Where do we spend most of our time – hanging out with Jesus – or the world!

    • He had a father who was on FIRE for the Lord – Uri mean fiery…

    • His grandfather Hur (along with Aaron) held up Moses arms – battle with Amalekites…

    • Because of the Godly men in his life – Bezalel was a man who followed after God!

    • Godly kids do NOT happen by accident – they come from a GOOD example!

    • Kids follow in our footsteps – mirror our actions – what example do we give them…

    • Parents – especially dads – we have the obligation / opportunity to teach our kids…
    • Ginikanan- labi nagid sa mga amay- may ara kita obligasyon/ opportunidad sa pagtudlo sang aton kabataan…
    • Not just through our words – but also through actions – teach them to follow Jesus!
    • Indi lang sa aton mga pulong- kundi paagi man sa aton mga binuhatan-sa pagtudlo sa ila sa kay Jesus!
  • 3^rd – FILLED with the Spirit of God… vs. 3

    • FILLED – [piel / imperfect] – Bezalel was CONSTANTLY and INTENSELY filled…
    • NAPUN-AN-[piel/indi perpikto}- Bezalel naga PADAYON kag SOBRA ka puno…
    • Spirit of God – [רוּחַ אֱלֹהִים] – only the THIRD time in the Bible we see this term…

    • FIRST time was in creation – when the Spirit stirred the waters – Genesis 1:2

    • SECOND was with Joseph – when the Spirit gave him a new life – Genesis 41:38

    • Now we see the Spirit of God giving a man GIFTS so he can be used by the Lord!

    • The ministry of the Spirit can be broken up into THREE categories…

    • The Spirit is with us convicting us – STIRRING us to believe on Jesus – John 16:8

    • The Spirit come to live in us – giving us a new LIFE in Jesus – John 20:22

    • The Holy Spirit comes upon us – gives us GIFTS to use for Jesus!

    • How do you get the GIFTS of the Spirit – just ask…
    • Paano mo makuha ang ABILIDAD sang Espirito- pangayo lang…

    • Not just once – but over and over and over again for – asking for the Holy Spirit

    • Luke 11:13 -"Your heavenly Father [will] give the Spirit to those who ask Him."
    • Lucas 11:13-” Ang Inyo Amay sa langit ihatag[ gid] ang Espirito sa mga nagapanagayo sa Iya.
    • We CONSTANTLY come to the Lord so He can INTENSELY fill us with His Spirit…

    • Only then can we receive the GIFTS we need to be used by the Lord!

    • The abilities and gifts of Bezalel were not his own – they were GIFTS from God…

    • Filled with the Spirit of God – in wisdom – understanding – and knowledge!

    • All believers who are filled with the Spirit have at least ONE gift – I Peter 4:10

    • We do not decide what gifts we receive – the Holy Spirit gives them to us…

    • We are not defined by our gift – I am a prophet or I am a healer…

    • The Holy Spirit can give us any or all of the gifts as the need arise!
    • Ang Balaan nga Espirito makahatag sa aton sang bisan ano nga abilidad kon sa tiun nga aton kinahanglanon..
    • I Corinthians 12:11 – “The same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills…”
    • I Corinto 12:11-Ïsa gid lang ka Espirito ang nagahatag sina tanan, kag ginapanagtag niya ini sa tagsa ka tawo suno sa iya gusto.
  • 4^th – SKILLED in all kinds of crafts… vs. 4-5
  • 4^th– TALENTADO sa tanan nga sahi sa paghimo sang matahom nga mga butang…vs. 4-5
    • Bezalel had it all – he could do ANYTHING – incredibly talented…
    • Bezalel ara gid sa iya ang tanan- mahimo niya ang BISAN ANO-indi mapatihan nga talento…
    • But it is not that Bezalel had incredible GIFTS – he just GAVE all he had to the Lord!
    • Pero indi amo sina si Bezalel may ara siya sing ABILIDAD nga indi mpatihan -Iya gin HATAG ang tanan nga ara sa iya sa Dios!
    • John 6:9 – “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?”
    • Juan 6:9-”May bata diri nga lalaki nga may lima ka tinapay nga barley kag duha ka isda.Pero ano ang pulos sina sa amo nga kadamuon sang mga tawo?.
    • It often we ask the Lord – what do I have to offer – what can I give to the Lord…
    • Kis a nagapamangkot kita sa Dios- ano bala ang akon mahalad- ano bala ang akon mahatag sa Dios…
    • We have a tendency to count loaves – compare ours to others…
    • May ara kita posibilidad sa pag isip sang tinapay- ikompara ang aton sa iban..
    • What we HAVE is not the issue – it does not matter how many GIFTS we possess…
    • Kon ano ang ARA sa aton indi ina ang isyu- indi importante kon ano ka damo nga ABILIDAD ang ara sa aton ….
    • When we take whatever we HAVE – and give it to the Lord – it is more than enough!
    • Kon makuha na naton ang bisan ano nga ARA sa aton- kag ihatag sa Dios- mas sobra pa ini!
  • 5^th – Bezalel had HELP… vs. 6
  • 5^th– Si Bezalel paga BULIGAN…vs.6
    • Bezalel was to be assisted by Aholiab – from the tribe of Dan…
    • Si Bezalel pagabuligan ni Aholiab- halin sa tribo ni Dan..
    • Even though God had given Bezalel great abilities – he still needed help!
    • Bisan pa nga si Bezelal ginhatagan sang Ginoo sang madamo nga abilidad- nagakinahanglan siya gihapon sang bulig!
    • God rarely does a work through just one man – God uses an army…
    • Ang Ginoo nagaobra paagi sa isa ka tawo- ang Ginoo gingamit ang mga soldado..
    • Everyone in the church is important – everyone has a purpose…
    • Ang tagsa ka tawo sa simbahan importante- ang tanan may katuyuan..
    • It is only as we work together – each with our own gifts – the work of God is accomplished!

    • I Corinthians 12:27 – “All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.”

    • SIX days men were to do ALL their work – but they had to REST on the SEVENTH day…

    • Because in SIX days God created the heavens and the earth – Genesis 2:1-2

    • And on the SEVENTH day He RESTED [שָׁבַת]!

    • It would give parents a chance to share with their kids – the SIGN we are set apart for God…
    • Ina magahatag sang chansa sa ginikanan nga magsugid sa ila kabataan- ang SENYALES nga kita ginseparar sa Ginoo…
    • It would give the people a chance to share with strangers – tell them about the Lord!
    • Ina magahatag sa mga katawhan sang chansa sa pagsugid sa mga estranghero- pagsugid sa ila parte sa Dios!
    • God calls us to be a peculiar people – we are not supposed to blend in – I Peter 2:9
    • Kita gintawag sang Ginoo nga mangin lain- indi dapat kita mag upod sa iban- I Pedro 2:9
    • If we look and act just like the world – why would anyone want to ask us about Jesus…
    • Kon kita magatulok kag mag gawi pareho sa kalibutan- ngaa ang iban gusto mamangkot sa aton parte kay Jesus..
    • It is because we are different – love / grace / holiness – we should stand out…
    • Ina tungod kita lain- gugma/grasya/ pagkabalaan- kita dapat ang nagapanginbabaw..
    • Giving us the opportunity to tell others about the hope we have in us – I Peter 3:15
    • Paghatag sa aton sang oppurtunidad sa pagsugid sa iban parte sa paglaom nga ara sa aton- I Pedro 3:15
  • 2^nd – The STONE TABLETS… vs. 18
  • 2^nd– Ang BATO nga MALAPAD..vs.18
    • God made an end of speaking with Moses on Mount Sinai – the FORTY days were done…
    • Ang Ginoo naghimo sa katapusan sa pagkipaghambal kay Moises sa bukid sang Sinai- sa FORTY ka adlaw ang natapos..
    • And God gave Moses the STONE TABLETS – written by the FINGER of God…
    • Kag ang Ginoo ginhatag kay Moises ang BATO nga MALAPAD- ginsulat paagi s KAMOT sang Ginoo..
    • Moses was not carrying the commands of MEN – they were the commands of GOD!
    • Si Moises indi magadala sang kasuguan sa TAWO- sila ara para sa kasuguan sang GINOO!
    • But the COMMAND of God do NOT bring life – it brought death – II Corinthians 3:6
    • Pero ang KASUGUAN sang Ginoo INDI makahatag sang kabuhi- nagadala sang kamatayon- II Corinto 3:6
    • As we will see – although the LAW is perfect – MEN are sinners!
    • Sa aton makita- bisan ang LAYI perpekto- ang TAWO makasasala!
