- Anyone who committed a sin against his neighbor…

- Had to confess what they had done – offering a sin sacrifice to God…

- As well make restitution to the one they sinned against – plus 20%…
- If the person who you wronged was dead – you were to pay God…

- It’s far too easy to simply say ‘I am sorry’ – God wanted you to back up your words…
- Mahapos lang maghambal ‘pasensya’ –
- Show you’re sorry by your actions – make and effort to right what you did wrong…
- Ipakita ang imo pasensya paagi sa buhat – maghimo kag effort nga mangin intsakto ang imo nahimo nga sala…

- If a husband was suspicious of his wife having an affair…
- Kon ang bana naga suspetso sa iya asawa nga nagapanginlalaki…
- But there was no proof – there were no witness / she was not caught in the act…
- Pero wala sang pamatuod – wala sang nakakita / wala sing nakakita sa iya sa akto…
- The husband had to bring a ‘jealousy’ offering to the priest…
- Ang bana magdala sang halad sa pari…
- The jealousy offering…
- Ang halad sa pagkaimon…
- The priest would take a jar with water mixed with dust from the tabernacle floor…
- Magbutang ang pari sng balaan nga tubig sa kolon, kag butangan niya ini ng yab-ok nga halin sa salog sang Tolda nga Simbahan…
- He would then place it in the woman’s hand – with her hair let down…
- Kag ibutang niya ini sa kamot ang babayi – nga naga bunghay ang iya buhok…
- The priest would write a curse of ‘bareness’ on leather – wash it into the water…
- The woman would have to swear an oath she was innocent – then drink…
- Magasumpa ang babayi nga siya inosente – kag mag-inom…
- If she was telling the truth – it would have no effect – if not she would be barren…
- Kon nagahambal siya sang matuod – wala ini sang epekto –
- The ‘drink’ itself had no power – it was about the ceremony…
- Ang ‘pag-inom’ mismo wala sang gahom – ina parte lang sa seremonya…
- In fear of the ‘consequences’ – it gave the opportunity for the wife to confess…
- Sa kahadlok sa ‘konsekwensya’ – nagahatag ina sang oportunidad sa asawa nga mag tuad…
- Or if the husband were just overly jealous – it would restore the husband’s faith…
- Ukon ang bana naimon lang –
- Sometimes husbands and wives have a hard time communicating…
- Kis-a ang bana kag asawa may indi pag inchindihanay…
- Trust between them has been lost – perhaps they are not longer even talking…
- Ang pagsalig sa isa kag isa nadula – siguro malawig na nga sila wala naka istoryahanay…
- The wife becomes bitter/distant towards an ‘unloving’ husband…
- Ang asawa nangin bitter/ nagpalayo sa ‘indi panilanggaon’ nga bana…
- The husband become jealous/suspicious towards his ‘un-submissive’ wife…
- Ang bana nangin seloso/ nagasuspetso sa iya ‘ indi- mapainubuson’ nga asawa…
- The solution is to come before the Lord – who can restore a broken marriage!
- Ang solusyon amo ang pagpalapit sa Ginoo – ang makabalik sang naguba nga pag asawahay!
- Numbers 6…
- Vow of a Nazarite… vs. 1-21 Read: Numbers 6:1-3
- Panaad sang Nazareo… vs. 1-21 Basaha: numero 6:1-3
- A vow of separation – for however long you wanted – set apart for the work of God…
- Ang panaad sang pagseparar – bisan ano ka lawig nga imo luyag – mag separar para sa Ginoo…
- You could not cut your hair – you could not touch a dead body…
- Indi mo pagpaguntingan ang imo buhok – indi ka pwede magtandog sa patay…
- You could not drink wine – eat grapes – or even raisins!
- Indi ka pwede mag-inom bino – magkaon ubas – ukon pasas!
- Efeso 5:18 – “Indi kamo magpahubog, kay ini pagpatuyang lang sang inyo kabuhi. Sa baylo, magmapuno kamo sang Espiritu Santo.”
- If they broke their vow – dead body/wine – they had to start all over again!
- Kon indi nila pagtumanon ang ila panaad – patay nga lawas/bino – magasugod sila liwat halin sa una!
- At the end they were to shave their head / offer a sin & peace offering to the Lord…
- Sa katapusan pakiskisan nila ang ila buhok / maghalad sa sala kag halad sa kalinong sa Ginoo…
- Sampson – Judges 13:7 – was a Nazarite from his birth till his death…
- Samson – Hukom 13:7 – isa ka Nazareo halin sa iya pagkatawo hasta sa iya kamatayon…
- He was unstoppable for the Lord – as long as he was dedicated to the Lord…
- Matutom gid siya sa Ginoo –
- The secret of his strength (not his long hair) – was he was set apart for God…
- Ang sikreto sang iya kusog (indi ang iya malaba nga buhok) – ginseparar siya para sa Ginoo…
- But Sampson gave in to sin – and it cost him his strength – effectiveness for God…
- Pero si Samson nakasala –
- God has called us to be set apart for Him – we are not to be like the world…
- Gintawag kita sang Ginoo para mangin separar para sa Iya – indi kita mangin pareho sang kalibutan…
- If we look and act just like the world – why would they want to hear about Jesus!
- Kon kita magtulok kag maghimo pareho sang kalibutan – ngaa kinahanglan pa naton mabatian ang parte sa kay Jesus!
- The world gambles / drinks / parties – all they have is momentary pleasure…
- Ang kalibutan naga sugal / inom / nagapakasadya – ang tanan ina madali lang nga kalipay…
- If we are doing the same things – how are we any different from the world…
- Kon nagahimo kita pareho sang sina nga butang – paano nga kita lain sa kalibutan…
- When we are dedicate ourselves to the Lord – full of the Holy Spirit…
- Kon idedikar naton ang aton kaugalingon sa Ginoo – puno sang Balaan nga Espiritu…
- We are unstoppable for the Lord – but when we give in to sin – loose our strength!
- We are unstoppable for the Lord – pero kon madala kita sang sala – kuhaon ang aton kusog!

- God commanded Aaron and the priests to bless Israel with this benediction…
- Ang Ginoo nagsugo kay Aaron kag sa mga para bugayan ang Israel paagi sa bendisyun…
- The Lord is used three times – protect / grace / peace…
- Ang Ginoo gingamit tatlo ka beses – protekta / grasya / kalinong…
- The triune nature of God – God the Father – God the Son – God the Spirit…
- Ang triune nature sang Ginoo – God the Father – God the Son – God the Spirit…
- Our Father in heaven protects us – we have nothing to fear…
- Ang aton Amay sa langit nagaprotekta sa aton – wala kita dapat kahadlokan…
- We receive the Grace of God through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross…
- Nabaton naton ang Grasya sang Ginoo paagi sa pagsakripisyo ni Jesus sa krus…
- We have peace from God through the work of His Holy Spirit!
- May kalinong kita halin sa Ginoo paagi sang ginhimo sang Iya Balaan nga Espiritu!

- The offerings for the Tabernacle… vs. 1-89
- Ang mga halad para sa Tolda… vs. 1-89
- On the day Moses set up the Tabernacle – anointing it as Holy – set apart for God…
- Sang sina nga adlaw nga ginpatindog ni Moises ang Tolda – anointing nga Balaan – gin separar para sa Ginoo…
- The 12 leaders of Israel (1 for each tribe) brought special offerings to the Lord…
- Ang 12 ka lider sang Israel (1 sa kada tribu) nagdala sang espesyal nga mga halad sa Ginoo…
- They gave 6 carts and 12 ox to be used by the Levites in moving the tabernacle
- Naghatag sila anom ka karo kag dose ka baka nga gingamit sang Levita sa pagsaylo sang tolda
- Then over 12 days (one each day) the 12 leaders each gave individual gifts…
- Kag sa 12 ka adlaw (isa s kada adla) ang 12 ka kada lider naghatag sa ila mga regalo…
- We get the idea that we are supposed to give to God – support the pastors / church…
- Nakuha naton in inga ideya para maghatag sa Ginoo – suportahan ang pastors / simbahan…
- The common view is the pastors are the ‘end of the line’ – they don’t have to give…
- But it is the pastors who are called to set the example for the people…
- Pero ang mga pastor nga gintawag para magpakita sang ehemplo sa mga tawo…
- If they are unwilling to give to the Lord – how can they ask others to sacrifice to God!
- Kon indi nila kinabubut-on nga maghatag sa Ginoo – paano sila makahambal sa iban agod maghalad sa Ginoo!
- God spoke to Moses…
- Ang Ginoo nag-istorya kay Moises…
- Whenever Moses went into the Tabernacle – God spoke to him from the Mercy Seat…
- Maglakat si Moises Tolda – ang Ginoo nagapakig istorya sa iya…
- Exodus 33:11 – “Kon magpakigsugilanon ang Ginoo kay Moises, daw a nagaatubangay gid sila, pareho sa mag-abyan nga nagaestoryahanay. Pagkatapos nagbalik si Moises sa kampo, pero ang bataon niya nga kabulig nga si Josue, nga anak ni Nun, nagapabilin sa Tolda.”
- God did not talk to Moses in vague dreams – He spoke to him like you would a friend!
- Wala nagaistorya ang Ginoo kay Moises paagi sa damgo – nagaistorya ang Ginoo sa iya nga daw iya abyan!
- A leader should be someone who not only sets a good example for the people…
- Ang lider wala lang nagapakita maayo nga ehemplo sa mga tawo…
- He should be someone who take the time to hear from the Lord – directed by the Lord
- Siya dapat nagahatag man sang tion sa pagpamati sa Ginoo – gina ubayan sang Ginoo
- If the leader does not know where he is going – where is he leading the people…
- Kon ang lider wala kabalo kon diin siya makadto – diin niya dal-on ang ang mga tawo…

- Dedicating the Levites… vs. 1-26
- Pagdedikar sang mga kaliwat ni Levi… vs. 1-26
- All of the Levites were to come to the Tabernacle with a Burnt & Sin offering…
- Ang tanan nga mga kaliwat ni Levi makadto sa Tolda nga may dala nga halad nga ginasunog kag halad sa sala…
- They were to shave their whole body – wash – and put on clean clothes…
- Kiskisan nila ang ila bug-os nga lawas – labhan – kag magsuksok matinlo nga bayo…
- Then Israel would come and lay their hands on them – giving them to the Lord…
- Kag ang Israel magkadto kag tinluan sila – kag ihatag sila sa Ginoo…
- They were to serve from 25 years old – until they were 50 years old
- The laying on of hands…
- Ang pagtungtong sang kamot…
- According to Hebrews 6:2 – this is an elementary principal of our Faith…
- Suno sa Hebreo 6:2 –
- In the early church there was a need – someone to help the Apostles – Acts 6:1-7…
- Sa
- They chose 7 men full of the Holy Spirit – to minister practically to God’s people…
- Mapili sila 7 ka lalaki nga napun-an sang Balaan nga Espiritu – sa pag alagad sang katawhan sang Ginoo…
- After the Apostles had prayed for them – they laid hands on them…
- Pagkatapos nga napangamuyuan sila sang apostles – itungtong nila ang ila kamot sa ila…
- The picture is of setting apart someone for the service of the Lord…
- Ang picture amo ang pag separar sa isa ka tawo sa pagserbisyo sa Ginoo…
- Lord willing – one day – we will have the privilege of ‘laying hands’ on someone here…
- Kabubut-on sang Ginoo – isa ka adlaw – may ara kita sang katungdanan sa ‘pagtuntong sang kamot’ sa iban diri…
- Recognizing God’s work – a calling to love and minister to God’s people!
- Kilalahon ang hinimuan sang Ginoo – pagtawag sa paghigugma kag pag alagad sa katawhan sang Ginoo!
- But never be in a rush – I Timothy 5:22 – “Indi ka magdali-dali tungtong sang imo kamot sa bisan kay sin-o para maghatag sa iya sang awtoridad nga magdumala sa mga tumuluo, kundi mag-andam ka nga indi ka maumid sa mga sala sang iban. Dapat wala sing isaway sa imo sa sin inga mga butang.”
- Pero indi magdali – I Timoteo 5:22 – “Indi ka magdali-dali tungtong sang imo kamot sa bisan kay sin-o para maghatag sa iya sang awtoridad nga magdumala sa mga tumuluo, kundi mag-andam ka nga indi ka maumid sa mga sala sang iban. Dapat wala sing isaway sa imo sa sin inga mga butang.”
- It is not about appointing a leader – it is about recognizing God’s anointing!
- Indi lang parte sa pagpili sang lider – parte ini sa pagkilala sang ginpili sang Ginoo!
- Numbers 9…

- Keeping the Passover… vs. 1-14 Read: Numbers 9:1-3
- Pagsaulog sang Piesta sa Paglabay sang Anghel… vs. 1-14 basaha: Numero 9:1-3
- It had been two years since God brought Israel out of Egypt…
- Ikaduwa nga tuig halin sang gin pagguwa sang Ginoo ang Israelinhon sa Egipto…
- It was time to hold the first Passover to remember the 10th and final plague…
- Tion ini sa pagdumdom sang ikapulo nga kalalat-an sa Piesta sang Paglabay sang Anghel…
- Everyone was required to attend – you were to be ‘cut off’ from Israel…
- Ang kada isa kinahanglan nga magtambong – ikaw mapahalinon sa Israel…
- But there were some who could not take part – unclean (touched a dead body)…
- Pero may ara sang iban nga wala nakasaulog – mahigko (nakatandog sang patay)…
- God allowed for a 2nd date – one month later – for those who were unclean/away…
- Gintugutan sila sang Ginoo sa ikaduwa nga bulan – pagkaligad sang isa ka bulan – kon sin-o ang mahigko…
- There is only one way to heaven – through Jesus – the Lamb of God…
- May ara lang isa ka alagyan pakadto sa langit – paagi kay Jesus – ang Karnero sang Dios…
- But if someone is far away (has not heard about Jesus) – or caught up in sin (unclean)…
- Pero kon ang isa ka tawo layo (wala nakabati parte kay Jesus) – ukon nakasala (mahigko)…
- God is VERY patient – He is the God of 2nd chances – desiring that all men be saved!
- Ang Ginoo GRABE ka mapag pasensya – Siya ang Ginoo nga nagahatag ikaduwa nga chansa – nagahandom nga tanan nga tawo maluwas!

- The Lord covered the Tabernacle with a cloud by day – pillar of fire by night…
- Gintabunan sang Ginoo ang Tolda sang panganod kon adlaw – kag kalayo kon gab-i…
- If the cloud/pillar moved so did Israel – if it stopped Israel made camp…
- It did not matter if it was a day / a month / or a year…
- Wala ini naga matter kon adla/ bulan / ukon tuig…
- Israel did not move unless God went before them…
- Ang Israel nagahulat lang sang mando sang Ginoo sa ila…
- We have the tendency to want to rush out – then look back to see if God is following…
- Kita may tendency kon kis a nga gusto magdali – kag magbalikid kon ang Ginoo nagasunod…
- We make our plans – set out to get to work – then ask God to bless what we are doing…
- Nagahimo kita sang plano – naga obra – kag maghambal sa Ginoo sa bugayan kita sa aton ginahimo…
- Then we are shocked/surprised when God does not get on board with ‘our plan’!
- Kag makibot lang kita kon ang Ginoo wala naga upod sa aton nga plano!
- God is not bound to our plan – He does not promise to follow us…
- Ang Ginoo wala nagaintra sa aton plano – wala siya nagpromisa nga magsunod s aton…
- We are called to follow Him – we need to keep our eyes on the Lord…
- Gintawag kita sa pagsunod sa Iya – magtulok lang kita sa Ginoo…
- If God stays put – we wait / If He moves – that is when we step out in faith an follow!
- Kon ang Ginoo magpundo – maghulat kita/ kon Siya magiho – amo ina nga magtuo kita kag mag sunod!
- Numbers 10…

- The silver trumpets… vs. 1-10 Read: Numbers 10:1-2
- Ang trumpeta nga pilak… vs. 1-10 basaha: Numbers 10:1-2
- Israel was to have two trumpets – only to be blown by the priest – to call the people…
- Ang Israel may ara ang duha ka trumpeta – nga patunugon lang sang mga pari – sa pagtawag sa mga tawo…
- They were to have different calls for different purposes: move / war / celebration…
- May ara sila lain lain nga pagtawag: paglakat / gyera / selebrasyon…
- When I was in Israel in 2006 in Haifa – we were heard the air raid sirens…
- Sang ako ara sa Israel sang 2006 sa Haifa – mabatian namon ang huni sang siren…
- We are still waiting for God to blow the trumpets – to call us home!
- Kita nagahulat sa Ginoo sa pagpatunog sang trumpeta – pagtawag sa aton sa pagpuli!
- I Tesalonica 4:15 – “Ginasugid namon sa inyo ang suno sa gintudlo mismo sang Ginoo: nga kita nga mga buhi pa sa pagbalik sang Ginoo indi mag-una sa mga nagkalamatay.”
- One day soon – no one knows exactly when – Jesus is going to come for His church…
- Isa ka adlaw – wala sang may nakabalo kon san o – si Jesus mag abot sa Iya nga simbahan…
- If Jesus came today – if those trumpets sounded – what would Jesus find us doing…
- Kon si Jeus mag abot subong – kon ina nga mga trumpeta magtunog – ano ang aton ginahimo kon Makita kita ni Jesus…
- Mateo 24:44 – “Gani magbantay gid kamo, kay sa oras nga ala ninyo ginapaabot, ako nga Anak sang Tawo magaabot.”

- One day – during mid-spring – the cloud lifted from the Tabernacle…
- Isa ka adlaw – during mid-spring – nagpaibabaw ang panganod halin sa Tolda…
- They had been over a year sitting – listening to God’s Word…
- Tinuig na ang pagtinir nila didto – nagapamati sa Pulong sang Ginoo…
- Not it was time to leave Mt. Sinai – it was time to head to the Promised Land…
- Indi ini tion sa paghalin sa Bukid sang inai – tion nila ini sa pagkadto sa Ginpromisa nga Duta…
- According to God’s plan – each tribe broke down according to their order…
- Suno sa plano sang Ginoo – ang kada tribu maguba suno sa ila order…
- The Levites and the priests carried the Tabernacle!
- Ang Levita kag mga pari nagadala sang Tolda!
- It is a blessing to be able to sit and listen to God’s Word – be prepared…
- Bugay ina nga makapungko sila kag magpamati sa Pulong sang Ginoo – maghanda…
- But the time comes when we are called to step out in faith – follow the Lord…
- Pero kon mag abot ang tion nga tawgon kita nga magpanglakaton – magsunod sa Ginoo…
- If we do not we will become stale in our walk – no longer challenged in our faith…
- kon indi kita mangin stale kita sa aton paglakat –
- What once took a great deal of faith (praying in public) is now comfortable…
- God is always nudging us to step out further – into a place where we depend on Him!

- Moses had a brother-in-law Hobab (loved)…
- Si Moises may ara sang bayaw si Hobab (loved)…
- Hobab wanted to go back home – but Moses pleaded with him to stay…
- Gusto ni Hobab nga magpauli – pero nagpakighiugyon si Moises sa iya sa pagpabilin…
- Moses argued – he knew the desert and could help guide the people…
- Nagbais si Moises – kabalo siya sang desyerto kag magbulig sa pag ubay sa mga tawo…
- Also God had given Israel amazing promises – Hobab could share in them…
- Kag ginhatagan sang Ginoo ang Israel sang manami nga mga promisa – si Hobab maga ambit man sa ila…
- The reality was God (the Ark in front) was leading Israel – they did not need Hobab…
- Ang kamatuoran amo ang Ginoo naga giya sa Israel – indi nila kinahanglan si Hobab…
- Apparently Moses was depending on his friend – and did not want him to leave…
- Si Moises naga depende sa iya lang nga abyan – kag indi niya gusto maglakat ini…
- God often moves people in / and out of our lives…
- Kis a ang Ginoo may ginadugang nga mga tawo sa aton/ kag ginakuha sa aton kabuhi…
- If God left the same people in our lives – we would begin to depend on them…
- Kon ibilin sang Ginoo ang pareho nga tawo sa aton kabuhi – sa ila nalang kita maga depende…
- So God moves people around – there only for a season – to keep us trusting in Him!
- Gani ginakuha sang Ginoo ang tawo s aton – there only for a season – para magpadayon kita salig sa Iya!
